I've been quite busy since I last updated...

So, I went away for the weekend, visiting my friends in London. Thursday night we went out for a meal for my friends 20th birthday (which feels like a really grown-up age to me. Not like 19). Friday we went out and had cocktails ^_^ We went to Roadhouse in Covent Garden - it is absolutely amazing there. They've got all these old diner and drug store signs, it just looks awesome. They do food too. We went early (about 7.30) so we could be there for happy hour - two cocktails for £5 :) We bought LOADS of drinks early on while they were cheap haha. Student logic is a wonderful thing. Later on they had a band, who played loads of great songs, everyone was singing along, it was so much fun. I can't believe I've never been there before!! Didn't do much for the rest of the weekend, just stayed in and watched films. It was really good seeing my friends again :D

I've watched the series 3 finale of HIMYM!!! Barney loves Robin!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! And Ted's stopped being a jerk ^_^ I'm so happy :)
Downside: E4 is being RUBBISH and not showing season 4 for a few weeks, and when they do start showing it it'll be once a week not every day :( But on the brightside, it'll be on at 9.30 so they won't cut bits out.

My LJ is playing up at the moment, last night it wasn't emailing me when I got new comments or when waterwheel friended me. It didn't come up in my LJ inbox either :S Anyway, I've got the messages now, so hopefully it'll be okay, but if I'm slow/don't reply to something I'm not ignoring you, technology is just against me :(
Lastly... I've got this fic, it's very nearly finished (and getting on for 2000 words... I know that isn't an achievement for most people, but as I nearly always write drabbles or ficlets I'm really proud xD ) but it's not quite in order yet (I tend to write the scenes that I like best first, and then fill in the other bits). Anyway, the point is... flashback, yes or no? I'm not sure how to introduce a flashback without it seeming really lame/confusing, but I like the order it's in at the moment... Also, I've already written the scene and it's in the present tense, which I think'd be confusing. Hmmm. I think I might just try writing it two different ways and see which one reads better.
