I've found the Joss Whedon spin off comics to be patchy. I haven't read the Firefly ones, but I've read the Buffy ones (terrible) and the Angel ones (weird) and I honestly only rate one of the Dr Horrible ones.

I'd be interested what you think about Those Left Behind and Better Days when you've finally read them!
