So, my dark_fest fics are coming along... sort of...

Okay, the first one, (the creepytastic!Billy one) is coming along fine. I've got three bits left to write, which is maybe 1000, 2000 words? I'm trying to get that done this weekend. Having said that, last weekend my overall total was 3,500 words, with the same three bits left to write. How it's now got to 5,500 with those parts still unwritten.... xD
ANYWAY. I will finish that this weekend.

Fic 2, the Hammer/Horrible one, is having... issues. It was just not working and not going how I wanted it to and arggg. Plus, in my head it was written in a certain style, but I tried to force it into a different style and that apparently killed it. But, I now have a) new ideas, b) accepted that it'll sound better in the second person anyway, who cares if some people don't like it, and c) a PLAN. The plan is to have a collection of drabbles/little ficlits around particular themes to tell the story, because (I like lists ^_^) 1) I heart drabbles and haven't written any in, like, FOREVER, and 2) This way it won't get away from me and waffle away like the above fic, so it will get finished before the fest :D

You know what's weird? I used to not be able to write ANYTHING that was longer than a couple of hundred words. I actually had a goal of being able to one day use the length: one shot (>1000 words) tag on horrible_fic xD The first time I broke 1000, I was immensly proud of myself. Now, I can't even write plotless crack pr0nz without it getting on for 2000 words!
