Sure - I think most of my flist is from the states/Canada. The ones I'd actually consider friends though (and who I talk to off LJ) are:

smthwallflower - We talk pretty much every day, because the time difference, me getting up early for work and her staying up late aligns perfectly for MSN chats while I'm on the bus to work ^_^ We talk about crazy stuff that it is wayyyy to early for, it's fun :)

jamie55  - I think she was the first person to friend me on LJ? We can't talk that often because of the time difference and she's usually busy, but I do like chatting to her :) Although last time we talked things went a bit... I mean, it was my fault, but... yeah :/ We're still friends though I hope

I would like to meet them both, but they live in Canada so... If I ever go to Canada though (or if you guys come to the UK) we should meet, it'd be cool :D

Need to redo my banner... not sure what I want though :/ I don't want white-on-black text anymore, so I've swapped to grey, but now my journal looks all cluttered.
Might have a new layout when I change the banner. I think I still want something Dr. Horrible related, not sure what exactly though. Maybe Dr. Horrible with the Death Ray? Don't know...

Also, when I first got LJ back in August, there was this thing where when you hovered over links you saw a little preview of the page it inked to. I can't remember what it's called, but the links have a little picture of a speech bubble next to them. Anyway, I haven't seen them for months and months - have they stopped, or have I managed to turn something off in the settings without realising?

So, I have a banner for my journal. Yay :)
Somehow, though, it didn't end up quite the right colour (despite the fact I took a screen shot of the page...) which is kind of annoying. Plus it's not blended at the sides enough. I'm a bit of a perfectionist/crazy when it comes to graphics soooo I'll probably end up redoing it tonight. Which will be a pain because I know it'll take ages when it's only a few shades off and no one else will even notice anyway.

In other news, exams are going okay. I think. Just want them to be finished so I can do fun things. Or at least do fun things without feeling guilty xD Oh, and I'm coming down with a cold and I think I'm loosing my voice, which is bad as I have my oral exam next week.

Anyway, got to go and revise histology :(
