US judge says lesbians can be "cured" by male sodiers.

Apparently, gay men shouldn't be allowed in the US military because "the overwhelmingly straight warriors who answer their county’s call [should] be spared the indignity of showering with other men who achieve lascivious enjoyment from the sight of those lithe naked bodies, and who may be tempted to seek more than the view". So to sum up - gay men are all oppertunistic rapists.

However, due to the fact that men are apparently naturally much more promiscuous than women (lolwhat? My personal experience begs to differ...) and historically "it fell to men to swing through the trees and scour the caves in search of as many women as possible to subdue and impregnate" - so basically, men naturally want to rape women - "straight male GIs [should have] a fair shot at converting lesbians and bringing them into the mainstream.”

So he thinks male GIs should correctively rape lesbians.

I'm like what would they condon army personel RAPING one another??? If someone got raped by their fellow officers and they go tell they superior would they first have to check if anyone was gay or not before filing charges??

Well, he didn't actually say rape, it was just strongly implied from the whole "in search of as many women as possible to subdue" bit. Although the website that had the article has taken that bit down now because of everyone pointing out that it sounds an awful lot like he's recommending corrective rape :/

Same here. I can't believe that there are still, in this day and age, groups that try to "cure" homosexuality. As for the people that join these groups... well, it just makes me incredibly sad that anyone would be so desperate to change something they're born with :(

(I actually have a friend who says if he could change being gay, he would :( I wouldn't change my sexuality for anything, and I wish other queer people felt as comfortable in themselves as I do.)
