Summary: It's not that Penny doesn't like Captain Hammer, but she might've made the wrong choice. 
A/N: This is for the 10_titles challenge.

 

She isn’t going to kiss him. She’s got a boyfriend. She’s happy.

He’s just her friend and she’s just comforting him. It’s what she does, after all; show people lost in the darkness that there is light beyond the shadows.

She isn’t going to kiss him.

But then he looks up at her from under his long lashes and the light streaming through the Laundromat window highlights the brilliant blue of his eyes, and she’s tempted.

She isn’t going to kiss him, but his cheek is warm against the palm of her hand, and slowly, oh-so slowly, she moves in.
