Title: Twenty Times It Worked (1/4)   (Part Two)  (Part Three)  (Part Four)
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Penny/Billy/Hammer
Word Count: 5x100 word drabbles (overall it will be 2000)
Summary: People say three in a bed doesn't work, but for Penny, Captain Hammer and Billy it does.
A/N: Part of the OT3 AU, which I should probably have a tag by now as I write it so much xD This is for 20_est_relships, using the prompts Understanding, Forgiveness, Symmetry, Memories and Answers.

 

Understanding

Billy curled up in the darkness beside Penny and Captain Hammer, listening to them breathe.

This had been a mistake. He was villain; he wasn’t cut out for feelings and sex and… wherever it was this might go.

As quietly as he could he slipped out of the bed and searched the floor for his underwear.

“Billy?” Penny asked softly. “What are you doing?”

He closed his eyes. “I have to go, Penny. I’m not good for you.”

“I don’t care, just stay.”

“I can’t.” It’s not that simple.

“Stay, Billy,” Captain Hammer said gently, and then somehow, it was.



 

 

Forgiveness

“I can’t do this.”

Captain Hammer looked at Billy sitting on the edge of the bed, silhouetted by the morning sunlight trickling through the curtains, his back to the other two. “What?”

“I just can’t.”

“Billy…” Captain Hammer leaned over the still-asleep Penny and ran his hand down Billy’s arm.

Billy flinched away from the touch. “We’re supposed to hate each other, not… this.”

Captain Hammer frowned. “Do you hate me?”

Billy finally turned around. “No,” he admitted quietly. “I thought I did, once, but…”

“I don’t hate you either,” Captain Hammer said softly. “We’re not so different, after all.”



 

 

 

Symmetry

It shouldn’t work. On the surface, they were all such different people: the loud hero, the quiet villain and the kind, caring volunteer.

But underneath they were far more similar than anyone would realise. Penny’s compassion was mirrored in Billy and Captain Hammer; Billy’s desperate need to be loved and all his insecurities were also buried deep inside Captain Hammer and Penny; and Captain Hammer’s desire to change the world for the better was echoed in Penny and Billy.

It shouldn’t work, and yet it did. Their differences had united them, but it was their similarities which kept them together.



 

 

 

Memories

Penny curled up closer to Billy and yawned. “What did you think of me when you first met me?” she asked lazily.

Billy stroked her hair. “I used to call you Hot Laundromat Girl, before I know your name.”

Penny giggled. “I used to call you Cute Guy.”

“What did you call me?” Captain Hammer asked, wrapping his arms around Penny.

“Kind Of Cheesy,” she replied.

“Corporate Tool,” Billy added.

Captain Hammer sighed dramatically. “Well, if you two nerds don’t want me, that’s fine…”

Penny leaned back into him. “I like you now… You are still kind of cheesy, though.”



 

 

Answers

“Do you like that?” Captain Hammer asked softly.

Penny nodded.

“You want me to continue?”

She nodded again, and closed her eyes with a moan as he continued touching her.

Billy nuzzled closer to her, planting kisses across her shoulder and along her neck. “I want to know everything about you, Penny,” he murmured, his breath hot on her skin. “What you like…” His hand trailed across her stomach.

“What turns you on…” Captain Hammer added, his fingers dancing up her thighs.

“What your fantasies are…” Billy whispered, his lips grazing her ear lobe. “I want to know it all.”
