Massive crossover. Malcolm Reynolds is a schizophrenic who thinks he's a Space Cowboy surrounded by his crew (who are actually family members and people he sees on a regular basis.) Book, his Reverend, hires Echo to try and use role-playing and psychology to bring Mal back. :D

dr. horrible/captain hammer slash. captain hammer goes all lame after the penny's death thing and sits in his underwear in his house, eating ben and jerry's and watching days of our lives. dr. horrible is bored without a nemesis [bad horse won't assign him new ones until he's defeated hammer], so he goes to try and convince hammer to re-join the rest of the world. :)

Biily creates a TimeRay that accidentally beams the Firefly ship into his basement. Or back yard. There'd probably be more space there. He and River get to talking super complicated techno-babbly while Captain Hammer and Simon talk through why it's so wrong they wanna sex up their people (Hammer, Billy- villain vs. hero / River, Simon - well, we talked about that :P) Hammer can instigate the conversation ;)

And then Penny comes home, tells them River and Simon have to go home, and Billy TimeRay's them back.

The ship could also almost land on Mal. Or Wash. Wash. Cause the crew wasn't inside at the time... for some reason :P

I can come up with a more... dirty one if you'd like ;)

Firefly fic somewhere along the lines of Wash being brought back to life by the Alliance, and being forced to work for them. The rest of the crew run into him and all hell breaks loose :D Preferably Zoe/Wash but if that's a pairing you write then that's ok :)

Btw sorry to just spring out of nowhere and start prompting fic, I hope it's ok :/
