Okay, for everyone worried about the facebook/twitter thing, this code by xnguard will hide the facebook/twitter connect buttons when people comment on your journal. It won't stop them if they view your LJ in their own style, or if they have facebook/twitter automatically posting their comments, but at least it'll stop people accidently cross-posting, and hopefully deter people who haven't set it to automatically update.

Also, the LJ staff have finally responded, and there's a poll here to answer :)
